Paduda Discusses Facility Costs & Workers’ Comp at NCSI – Oct. 8

The National Council of Self Insurers (NCSI) will present its Annual Conference virtually through a series 8 webinars, scheduled two at a time between September 22 and December 1. You can select one or multiple sessions or opt to attend the whole conference.

On October 8, starting at 9:30 a.m., Joe Paduda will discuss the New Cost Driver Frontier — how external forces (like COVID-19 and federal reimbursement changes) are driving up employers’ costs for hospitals.

In most states, employers pay 3 to 8 times Medicare’s cost for facility services. He’ll explain why – and how – hospitals and health systems target workers’ comp and outline ways to mitigate their efforts.

Again, Joe’s webinar starts at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 8 during NCSI’s Annual Meeting. CEUs for this and other webinars are available. Find out more here or by contacting NCSI’s Executive Director Jill Dulich at jill.dulich@natcouncil.com or 714.679.7707.
